ARTICLE: ARE YOU AT "THE RIGHT PLACE" & AT "THE
RIGHT TIME"?
RIGHT TIME"?
Many of you know that I am always saying "For Such A Time As This". In fact, it is the title of my new book I am currently working on at the present. If you are an authentic believer and follower of Jesus Christ then you recognize the times we are living in. Some call it "the last days" or "the end times"-- either way, these folks would be right in saying this. I believe The Body of Christ (The Bride) is at a crucial time in history where we are experiencing Prophecies from The Book of Revelation happening before our eyes. Many believe we, as Christians, are living in the most glorious times ever, and I would agree with them wholeheartedly. With this being said, I pose a few questions that only you can answer. Are you at the right place and at the right time "for such a time as this"? In other words, are you in the position God has called you to be in-- tending to the "field or harvest" that He has ordained for you to look after? Are you ready when He says "go here or go there"? Are you willing to be Obedient to the leading and instruction of the Holy Spirit?
These are questions that some of us are ready to give an answer to without a moment's hesitation. And there are some who may have to step back and examine their heart and their relationship with Jesus Christ and Father God-- and that is alright! There is no judgment cast against you if this is where you are at. It is good to be sober-minded, but don't become lethargic because Jesus is coming back VERY soon! At least, you are in a place where you are willing to step back and "examine" your heart and your life. There are those who continue to be "carnal Christians" with one foot in the world and one foot in the church-- and there are those who are going to a place of worship because it is where their itching ears are being gratified-- they are hearing only what they want to hear (and not necessarily the TRUTH, the whole TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH). These individuals are walking on dangerous ice called Apostasy.
Keeping in mind the season The Church (The Body of Christ / The Bride of Christ) is in, it is important that we are in the right place and at the right time, because I believe if we are not, we just may miss out on what I believe is going to be one of the greatest, if not, THE Greatest Revivals the Church (and the world) has ever seen. I truly believe for those individuals (and churches/ministries) that will allow the Holy Spirit to move (and not "Man's Agenda" taking precedence, but God's Agenda being allowed in the Church, these will be those who are going to be standing in the "right place" and at the "right time". God desires to manifest His presence with such power-- with the evidence of miracles, signs and wonders, and it saddens me to say there are some who will miss out on this soon coming "Move of the Holy Spirit".
I am going to say something very bold, but I believe I am also being lead by The Holy Spirit to say-- if you, family and/or friends are in a "dead church" where The Holy Spirit is not allowed to move in accordance with God's desire and passion to do so, then you need to GET OUT AND GO TO WHERE THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS ALLOWED TO HAVE HIS WAY. Also, if you are attending a church where the Church Leader (Pastor, Reverend, etc.,) are compromising, watering-down, or just not addressing Sin for what it is -SIN, then you need to move on to where the Pastor is not willing to be intimidated by social pressure or any influence of special interest groups or congregants who have any hidden agendas and are in any inappropriate "financial arrangements" (God knows it all)-- then, you need to flee from such a dead works and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to where the "Feast of the Word" is being served in its "Full Course - unadulterated Truth that sets the captives free", and where a man, woman and/or child can drink the water that Jesus gives and they will never thirst again. Also, if your worship experience is nothing but a mini-concert or a rhetoric standard of four songs and there is no anointing-- (and i don't count anyone having a pretty voice necessarily an "anointed" voice)-- then you may want to consider moving on.
My beloved, I am not so ignorant to think there is such a thing as "the perfect church or ministry"....but I am able to discern when something "stinketh" and when a church is dead. There are too many folks staying in such a church out of loyalty and false pride. There are many "loyal members" who believe if they just pray a little harder, then things will eventually get better-- there is power in prayer for certain, but prayer does little to no good when there is a "control freak" at the helm of the ship. I believe Father God desires for ALL of the churches within The Body of Christ to allow the Holy Spirit to have His Way in every service, but I believe there are far too many church leaders who are not willing to totally give up "control" of what they are taking ownership of-- "THEIR Church" and "THEIR congregation" and "THEIR ministry". If they are saying "their" then this is where part of the problem lies my beloved. This is "God's Church", "God's Congregation" and "God's Ministry". Every service should be "God's Agenda" and He should be allowed to "switch the script" so to speak (which simply means that there may be times (and we can only hope so) where God will ask the Pastor to lay aside what he had planned to preach that day and preach something else-- or perhaps, not preach at all that day, but spend the whole service having an altar call because God's People need healing, encouragement, etc., Now I am not saying that a Pastor isn't supposed to prepare a sermon or teach a series-- of course not. And I am not saying the Praise and Worship Team shouldn't have a list of songs they have rehearsed for the church services. But what I am saying is there are too many times when The Holy Spirit desires to move and those in charge of the service are rigid and not willing to "release control" of their plans and agenda. I am not advocating chaos or confusion in any way-- God is a God of order and not of confusion. Proverbs 16:9 "Man makes his plans, but God orders His steps"-- this scripture is not only applicable for when man makes a life changing decision, but it is also applicable to God having His way in a church service.
I believe I have said all that I am supposed to say in this article folks. If the shoe fits then folks need to start wearing it. Get in the right place and at the right time because there is work to be done and we CANNOT DO IT without The Holy Spirit and God's Agenda being accomplished in the Household of Faith. Amen?
