ARTICLE: REKINDLED FIRES

2 Timothy 1:6-7 "For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline".

The Apostle Paul was writing to Timothy while he was imprisoned in a jail cell. He was encouraging Timothy to keep the faith and on those days when he may be feeling weary and tired, to "kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you....". The Apostle Paul understood what it meant to grow weary, especially when he would find himself being placed in a prison cell for doing exactly what Father God had asked him to do. But from the prison cell, Paul encouraged Timothy to keep the faith, rise up and press foward and to not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul gave an awesome example in that while he was there in the prison cell, he and Silas, continued in His confidence, with a blessed assurance that Father God was going to continue to bestow on him. So much did he believe Father God was still in charge of his life, that he and Silas turned that prison into a church and they led a praise and worship service - amen and hallelujah! Apostle Paul was showing all of us that no matter where we are at in our walk with Christ, we can still rise up and be unashamed or silenced in "The Truth that sets the captives free." The Word of God dwells richly in God's people and we have to determine we are doing testify, worship and shout it from wherever we may be standing in our lives. Amen!

As I have continued reading through 2 Timothy Chapter One, there is another verse in this passage that spoke to my heart this morning. (See below)

2 Timothy 1:14 says, "Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you".

In times of weariness, and exhaustion, this is when we need to get continue to "guard the treasure which has been entrusted to us". Yes, we find days when we are weary and tired, but we need to RISE UP, and STIR UP the FIRES within us; and PRAY for FRESH FIRES AND HOLY PASSION, so we can go forth and continue to press on in all that Father is calling each of us to do. Get into The Secret Place and commune and fellowship with God--Here we will experience a refreshing of strength, wisdom, boldness and courage to GO BACK OUT THERE, PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF, and MOVE FORWARD WITH A FRESH AND HOLY FIRE AND PASSION FOR THE THINGS OF GOD.

It is never too late to allow Father God with a request for REKINDLED FIRES" within us, so that we may press forward in The CALL He has placed on our lives.

PERSONAL: I have been found guilty of stepping away from The CALL for a while, and it is time for me to RISE UP and to get MOVING once again,,,,but only this time, I am coming forth with a FRESH ANOINTING, REKINDLED FIRES AND RENEWED HOLY FIRES. I am determined, by the divine strength I am receiving from The Holy Spirit, to begin to start up on my Youtube Channel (Jay Hudson -The Trumpet Call) . I will be bringing new articles of encouragement as I address various topics concerning the end-time harvest and many other topics. It is my prayer that ALL of you rise up and get back to what Father has called you to do. He can restore, refresh. and rekindle holy fires and passions in you and your ministry. May Father God bless you with ALL that you will need in movnig afresh on THE CALL in the harvests of these last days! Be blessed, encouraged, challenged and know that you are not alone - we are all in this together -- and guess what? On the other side of our obedience to God's Call on our lives, there has been a harvest of souls awaiting for us to press onward and upward for the sake of sharing of God's "Truth that sets the captives free (John 8:32). Thus, advancing the Kingdom of God - ALL GLORY TO FATHER GOD! AMEN!
