My beloved, the more time I spend with Father God in His Word and in "The Secret Place", the more clear I am able to see the desperate need for Father God's Children to draw close to Him as Abba Daddy. He is truly our refuge and strength during the terrible and perilous times America is facing. In a recent FB Article that I wrote, I made the statement "God is Cleaning House". Everyday, more and more, Americans are seeing evidence of the deceptive corruption that has permeated our government. I believe Father God is conducting a full scale "Holy General Inspection" and Truth is bringing all of the lies and deception to light. Americans are hearing more and more of what is really happening behind the scenes amidst the "smoke and mirrors" -- with political puppetry presenting an old fashioned "Punch and Judy" puppet show!

FYI: Britain's classic marionette presentation "The Punch and Judy Show" was a theatrical outlet of a Voice of the common people; speaking on behalf of the average citizen and the societies dissatisfaction with the corruption of the The British Government and its political leaders. The character of "Punch" (the male role dressed in "jester fashion", exaggerated facial features (protruding chin, large nose and big ears), also carried a large black stick. The character of his wife "Judy" and their child they only refer to as "the baby" join the scene and this is when there is a series of situations that lead to Punch hitting Judy and even begins hitting the baby, with his stick, because it is crying profusely and he attempts to silence the baby! As the "puppet show" progresses, several other characters emerge: The Police Officer who responds to the spousal and child abuse chaos..and yes, "PUNCH" beats the Police Officer who retrieves and exits-- then comes a character called "The Hang Man" and through a few "so-called comic antics", instead of "Punch" being in the noose, he manages to beat the hangman and places the hang man in the noose. The last, of a line of other small role characters, is The Devil who comes to take "Punch" to Hell. AND AGAIN, you guessed it, "Punch" beats The Devil profusely and the Devil runs away. This conclusion has its audiences on their feet in thunderous applause!

There is a similarity of AMERICA's current challenges and mindsets in her government; a "venue of having a voice against authority and government leadership, as well as, one thinking he can also not be accountable to his wrong actions (sin) and avoid eternal judgment for his own created corruption-- sure sound familiar with our own nation's corruption and the discontent and anger of a large majority of Americans today. There is much familiar symbolism of "Punch" and his defiance against the authorities and even his plight and judgment of deserving hell, his character also gives the illusion that he is even able to defy The Devil on his own strength and the profuse consecutive blow of his prop "The Stick". No one, citizen and/or the corrupt government leadership, will escape Almighty God's judgement. Although many attempt to carry "big sticks around" in threats and evil manipulation of lies and deception" in our current administration, justice comes ultimately from Our Creator. The Father of Lies and Master of deception is behind the corruption we are seeing in our nation today! But the day of divine reckoning is coming! Again, GOD IS CLEANING HOUSE".

I found this statement that was made by Punch and Judy showman Glyn Edwards:

"[Pulcinella] went down particularly well with Restoration British audiences, fun-starved after years of Puritanism. We soon changed Punch's name, transformed him from a marionette to a hand puppet, and he became, really, a spirit of Britain – a subversive maverick who defies authority, a kind of puppet equivalent to our political cartoons."

As I write this article, I pray that this shared illustration of "Punch and Judy" venue that was used for serving as a "Voice of Dissatisfaction" and a country's people expressing frustration and anger against its government leadership and the state of their nation, has provided you with insight to a sense of familiarity and relatable issues our nation too faces. As Christians, "the Stick of power we have is in the hands of The Almighty who judges the wicked and knows how to bring proper justice to a corrupt society and government".
