SUBJECT: EFFECTIVE WITNESS FOR JESUS!

Revelation 12:11 "They (Saints) triumphed over him (Satan) by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their (Saints) Testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." (paraphrased)

My precious brothers and sisters in Christ, in the aforementioned scripture, Father God emphasizes the importance of what we, the Saints of God, are empowered with in order to "triumph" (defeat, overcome, demolish) Satan (and his minions):

+ The BLOOD OF THE LAMB
+ The WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY 
+ The WILLINGNESS TO LAY DOWN OUR LIVES 
(DEATH) FOR WHAT WE KNOW TO BE TRUTH

As a young believer and follower of Jesus Christ, back in 1988, I immediately memorized (Revelation 12:11). It wasn't until I went from my "lack of understanding" to receiving the "revelation" from The Holy Spirit of just how incredibly "powerful and authoritative" the shed-blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross; the reality of "the true Saints of God in Christ" being "marked", "stamped" or "sealed" with "the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ". Even if that was where Revelation 12:11 stopped, I would be elated. However, there is MORE! Hallelujah! The scripture continues by telling us (the Saints) we also "overcome the devil by "the Word of our Testimony". The last portion of this passage, "not loving our lives so much as to shrink from death" really testifies to just how real God is in the lives our lives; and how we are willing to even face death, because this is how much we KNOW Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life!!!

What Revelation 12:11 tells us is that Jesus has done His part by shedding His blood for the sin of all of mankind; and we, the authentic believers and followers of Christ, must tell the world of the truth that has set us free. We must share the reality of God's transformation power. For many of us, our past (before accepting Jesus Christ as Savior), was a mess: drugs, alcohol, sex, false religion and so much more. For those of us who truly know what Father God has done in our lives, we are always ready to tell folks how He has changed our lives. I don't know about you but I love it when The Holy Spirit gives me the boldness, strength and courage to share the awesome things He has done in my life. Being delivered from out of the Gay lifestyle, drug addiction and the occult (new age/metaphysics). My life was a MESS and Father God has done such remarkable things in my life. Now He has allowed me the blessed privilege of sharing a MESSage.

In closing, "EFFECTIVE WITNESSING" is for us to go forth in knowing, as authentic believers and followers of Jesus Christ, the enemy is defeated because of the POWER of the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our Testimony; AND being so confident in the redemption we have in Christ and in what Father God has done in transforming our lives. Folks are looking for the truth in a world full of illusion, lies and deception.

I believe Father God has placed an area in our heart ("a void") that can only be filled with His Son, Jesus Christ. It is up to those of us who have stopped trying to fill "the void" with drugs and alcohol, sex, false religion, intellectualism, materialism and discontent relationships. I am sure there are many other vices folks try to use to fill "the void". Family of God, we HAVE the ANSWER....the KEY....the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE-- and His name is Jesus Christ!

Let us all take advantage of the Christmas season my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. What better time of year to share God's Gift to ALL mankind-- His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. May Father God bless us all with strength, boldness and courage as we go forth sharing the love of God; and the FREE Gift of Salvation in Jesus Christ!
