ARTICLE: WORK WHILE THERE IS STILL THE LIGHT OF DAY

John 12:35 "Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going."

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, during my time in prayer and meditating on the Word of God this morning, The Holy Spirit spoke to me saying, "Work while there is still the light of day".(John 12:35) There is such an urgency in my spirit that we MUST bring forth the "Truth that sets the captives free" (John 8:32). Even as I write this morning, what The Holy Spirit is leading me to speak forth are things that He has had me share many times over-- the sense of URGENCY; our need to POSITION ourselves in Father's Will for our lives; spending precious time in THE SECRET PLACE in Communion and Fellowship with Father; recognizing the SEASON we are in; and being OBEDIENT to the leading and instruction of The Holy Spirit. We desperately NEED to share the TRUTH that sets the lost and wandering souls free from the lies and deceptions of the enemy of this world.

What does it mean to "Work while there is still light of day?" The meaning of this phrase is obvious in that Father has "work" for His Children to do and we must do this while there is still time to do it-- recognizing the "work" and "the light of day":

The WORK: The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20 says, "Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the MOUNTAIN WHICH JESUS HAD APPOINTED FOR THEM. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Note: I have intentionally capitalized the words "mountain which Jesus had appointed for them". We must be in a stance of "readiness" in the "position" MOUNTAIN (assignment, territory or field (Harvest) that we have been "appointed" to "occupy" for such a time as this. This same passage speaks of "some doubting" and we must be certain of what Father has called us to do. (Side note: If you are struggling with doubt in your walk with Christ, get into The Secret Place; The Word of God and in prayer-- commune and fellowship with Father and I assure you that "doubt" will no longer be an issue for you. Romans 12:2 says " Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will."

WHILE THERE IS STILL LIGHT: (John 8:12) says, "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." IN Jesus, WE are to serve as "The Light of the World" and be diligent while there is still time to do so. We must "Recognize" the "Season" we are in and be "Diligent" in what "Mountain" (the "farmer's field", the "Waters of Humanity" as "fisher of men", etc.) we are to occupy "for such a time as this" (in these last days). Great darkness is coming and even now, as I share this post, Satan continues to "roam about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8) There is work to be done in the advancement of the Kingdom of God. There is a great harvest that is ripe and ready for harvesting, and Father says in Luke 10:2 "He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field:" Will you and I go forth as "Workers of the Harvest" in response to The Lord of the Harvest" request for laborers in these last days? I pray Jesus finds all of us in the Center of God's Will for our lives" when He returns--AND THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN VERY SOON!!!.

Folks are wandering aimlessly in a world of lies and deception-- they are oblivious to the reality that they are walking toward the edge of a deadly cliff and they are plunging into the depths of Hell. I know this sounds harsh, but it is the truth my beloved brethren, and we have the TRUTH that can open their eyes. Yes, there will be those who will reject Jesus and will choose to continue to bask in false peace, self-righteousness, indulgence and lust of the flesh. However, there are those who are ready to receive the TRUTH and as we, God's People, are ready and willing to go in obedience to the leading of The Holy Spirit, we will be witnesses of Father's transformational power in the lives of these lost and wandering souls. We must remember, that as these precious people are blind to the truth, we too were blind, until we met Jesus Christ and accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. AND THAT IS WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE.. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, let us not forget what Father has delivered us out of when we were blind to "the TRUTH that sets the captives free". There is much work to be done in these last days and we must be obedient to the Holy Spirit's leading and instruction--I know I keep harping on the need for OBEDIENCE, but this is so true. We MUST be obedient to the Holy Spirit's leading, because He provides divine insight, direction, instruction, inspiration, encouragement, rebuke and correction, and NONE OF US CAN DO THE "WORK WHILE THERE IS STILL DAYLIGHT" without ALL that we ARE in Christ (washed, sanctified and justified). Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross-- to give His life "Once-for-ALL" . In Christ, we are fully EQUIPPED to go forth in ALL that Father is calling us to do: 1) Authority in Jesus' Name; 2) the Blood of the Lamb; 3) the Armor of God; AND our willingness to go forth in occupying: a) The appointed "mountain" Jesus has appointed for us; b) Recognizing the "Season" we are in; c) Being "Obedient" to the leading and instruction of the Holy Spirit and going forth, not in our power, but in the power and authority of JESUS CHRIST our Champion, our Banner, and the Victory in the end. My beloved, let us be found doing the "work while there is still the light of day". Be greatly encouraged, inspired, challenged and blessed this weekend. Selah!
