SUBJECT: THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD IN OUR
WILLINGNESS TO BE OBEDIENT
WILLINGNESS TO BE OBEDIENT
Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
Psalm 121:1-2 A Song of Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Hey, Beloved Saints of God, we are all on a "Faith Walk" with Jesus who has told us He would never nor forsake us. In establishing, expanding and strengthening our faith, God is asking us to be obedient to His Holy Spirit's leading. As we are willing to go forth in what He is asking us to do, though for some it may appear to be a foreign land, Jehovah Jireh will provide ALL that we will need. This does not only include strength, courage, discernment, wisdom and boldness; but it also includes the practical things we need in our everyday lives.
I know in my personal life, I am going forth into a new season where I am seeing God's Mighty Hand in my need for such provisions. He knows everything I will need even before I get to my destination. He is working on my behalf behind the scenes. When one of His Children has a need, He can place this need on the heart of someone who He can use to fulfill your need.
There have many times in my life when I have had a need and God has provided. I was in my early twenties and I had a part-time job (which paid me just enough so I could afford to pay my rent, bills and to buy a few groceries; but like we all experience at times, something unexpected came up and I was left with one bag of top ramen noodles and a bottle of water. I was a young in the Lord so I didn't know how to pray very eloquently (not that He cared how I communicated with Him). So I said, "Thank you God for some food". A short while later, I stepped outside to catch a breathe of fresh air, and there laying at my feet was six bags of groceries and no note stating who it was from. To this day I still have no idea who placed those bags of food at my doorstep. Another time, not long after this first "provision from God" occurred, I had gone to church one Sunday morning with cash that I was keeping so I could pay my electric bill the next day (Monday). At the church, we had a special guest who was a missionary to Columbia. After his incredible sharing about his ministry in Columbia, my Pastor decided to take up a "love offering" from the congregation. I then heard The Holy Spirit tell me to give all of the money I intended to use for my electronic bill as an offering unto the Lord in this "Love Offering". That afternoon, a member of my church had gone home to take a nap before the evening service and in a dream God told him to place a certain amount of money in an envelope. He went to church that evening and approached me-- handing the envelope to me. I opened it and found a stack on money that was 10 times more that the money The Holy Spirit had asked to give to the missionary in the morning church service. Beloved, we can NEVER outgive God.
As I continue to press through on my new journey (faith walk) I will continue to record the incredible things God is doing in my life. GOD IS ON THE MOVE! ARE YOU AND I DOING WHAT GOD IS ASKING US TO DO? Do not be afraid in your steps of obedience. Follow God's still small voice and be obedient to His Holy Spirit's leading and instruction, and when we are willing to do so, on our little Faith Walk God will lead us into blessings that we can't begin to fathom-- His plans and purposes for your life will be fulfilled. You will begin to experience unspeakable joy and you will walk in peace knowing you are in the "Center of His Will" for your life!
God bless you all on your new "Faith Walk" in these last days!!
